Gan On: Magazine Launch, Panel & Showcase

Gan On is releasing it’s second issue of 2026, and, as part of the magazine’s rebirth, will be hosting a live event to discuss the new era of the project, as well as showcasing some of the city’s finest emerging talent, all of whom are highlighted in the upcoming May issue. With live performances from Swindled, Claudia Callum O’Neil, and
Aimee – as well as a panel hosted by editor Jenny Dean, featuring various local music legends who have played a key role in shaping Gan On – the evening will be packed full of the best of the best from Sunderland’s ever improving local music scene.

On show days, ticket holders can enjoy 20% off food and drinks at local business’ Koji, Mexico 70, and The Ship Isis. We recommend booking the restaurants on weekends.

Flat level parking is available directly opposite the venue, free after 3pm on weekdays and after 6pm on Saturdays & Sundays. Sunderland train station is just a two-minute walk and the bus interchange is a five-minute walk.
